Please note that:
If you have advance tax or Withholding Tax In your iTax account, iTax will neither allow you to file nil returns nor use ITR for employment only methods of filing returns.

As such, KRA considers you to be in business and you will have to prepare a Profit and Loss statement and balance sheet to file your annual return. This change was implemented since the 2017 tax year.

If this is the case with your account, we recommend you use the services of an accountant to help you file your returns.
