Recorded as a way of paying tribute to the culture and traditions of New Orleans, the song was originally made famous by the city’s own Louis Armstrong and became one of the most popular tunes all over the world. The track was taught to the band by legendary New Orleans brass band musician, the great Keith ‘Wolf’ Anderson.
