Building an SBC188 Single Board x86 Computer

A fellow retrobrew member, Robert, sent me this cool SBC-188 pc board, and in this video I assemble and boot it up and do a short demo of a few DOS programs. An interesting aspect of this build is that it supports BIOS over serial, so you do not need a display adapter. You can boot and interact with DOS directly over a serial connection. For more electronics videos, see http://www.smbaker.com/

For more information on the SBC-188, see https://www.retrobrewcomputers.org/doku.php?id=boards:sbc:sbc-188:start

You can find Robert's eBay store, with various retro boards (including the SBC-188 and backplanes, etc) at https://www.ebay.com/usr/dmanpdi
