Reflecting on the recent decisions of Mojang, it is rather difficult to feel they genuinely put the player experience at their priority. A note worthy decision which changed Mojang's reputation was Minecraft in-game chat reporting system, which resulted in Minecraft players ability to play multiplayer was put at risk since freedom of speech has been eliminated from Minecraft chat. Furthermore, Mojang's recent new policies prohibit fans from organizing events similar to Minecon, by not allowing the privately run organizations to exceed a given amount of people and source funding or charge people for entry. Minecraft had also banned Gun Mods from modded multiplayer servers.
