Hola mis amores. Welcome to a new video from Español con María.

Today you will join me in a great adventure. We will discover Colombia's most beautiful town. It's call Barichara. We wont just walk through it's charming streets. We will also fly over the montains to get there. Thanks to Trair Colombia I had the opportunity to live a great experience. Travel in helicopter above the colombian Sky.

TIP to travel to Barichara:

1. Don't forget to wear sunscreen.
2. Use comfortable clothes for hot weather.
3. You may use some ant moskito spray.
4. Try the typical dishes and food: hormigas culonas, obleas, carne oreada, chorizos en refajo, guarapo and mango biche.
5. Hire a guided tour or read a lot because the town is very pretty but the magic is inside the stories told by it's people.

How to get to Barichara?

You can take a bus from Bucaramanga, it would take 2:30 hours to San Gil and there you take an other bus to Barichara. It cost more or less 15 US dolars (one way).

If you're in Bogot'a you can rent a car and drive to barichara (5-6 hours) or take a bus to Bucaramanga and get down in San Gil. Take an other bus to Barichara.

My favorite way until now: take an helicopter from Bucarmanga to Barichara. It's just 18 minutes away and the trip is magical. The cost is 1000 USD dollars (aprox) for a group of 5 and it includes the lunch in a great hotel boutique and the guided tour in Barichara.
