I went to Switzerland to ride the early powder in December of 2019. Usually you can get a lot of fresh powder during that time of winter in Swiss Alps. Laax never disappoints when it comes to fresh snow. Laax has also won an award for the best freestyle ski resort in the world a few years in a row. Laax is definitely in my top 5 list of ski resorts. There are endless powder lines from all the ski lifts in this amazing Swiss resort. If you ever went snowboarding to Laax, you will return there many times for sure!

This cinematic travel video was shot only on Sony RX100 VII digital mirrorless compact camera. I filmed it completely handheld without any gimbal at 120 fps. I used standard color mode in Sony RX100 VII camera settings. The video was edited in Adobe Premiere Pro. I used "Warp Stabilizer" effect on some shaky footage. And I used my custom LUT preset to color grade this video.

Laax offers 188 km of slopes and 36 km of ski routes for skiing and snowboarding. 28 lifts transport the guests. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 1,100 and 3,018 m. The ski resort is located above the villages of Laax, Flims and Falera. The expansive winter sports area provides all visitors with a varied winter holiday. Skiing and snowboarding are at the center of the enjoyment. The slopes on the Bündner Vorab (3,018 m) and Laaxerstöckli (2,898 m) are accessed with ultra-modern lifts. The comprehensive slope offering includes slopes of all difficulty levels and is one of the largest in Graubünden. In addition to skiing, numerous highlights are featured. Multiple snowparks, a super pipe and the Freestyle Academy offer ideal conditions for freestylers of all ability levels. Laax has received many awards for being the best freestyle ski resort. It has one of the best snowboard parks in the world as well as it is home to the world's largest halfpipe.
