In this episode, I’m joined by Jordan and Erica from The Hawaii Vacation Guide to talk through 15 common Hawaii travel mistakes we see visitors make again and again.

One of the big ones: trying to squeeze too many islands into one trip. 🏝️

A 30-minute interisland flight may sound simple, but the full travel day can take way more time and energy than people expect, especially if you’re traveling with kids.

For most 7–10 day Hawaii trips, one island is usually enough. For 10–14 days, one or two islands is plenty.

You don’t get an island-hopping badge at the end. 😅
