Day in the Life of a Daycare Provider | WHAT I DO WITH 10 KIDS UNDER 5

Here is a long-anticipated video of what a day in the life looks like for me as a child care provider with ten children under age 5. Join me during a typical daycare day filled with outside time in the snow, circle time, preschool crafts, talking about emotions, dancing our wiggles out, and so much more! No two days are ever exactly the same, but here is what a typical day looks like for us in my daycare.

DISCLAIMER: I feel the need to say up front that negative, hateful comments will be deleted. I'm hoping people will watch this video with an open, loving heart, knowing that we are sharing this to be informative, helpful, and encouraging, but here on Youtube that is not always the case! Remember, I run an IN-HOME child care, meaning I am a MOM who opens up her HOME to care for, love on, instruct, and teach young children. I am not running a sterile hospital-like center. Kids get dirty here. They pet our dog. They hold hands. They spill food on the floor. They make messes and we clean them up. Parents who enroll in my child care are looking for a homey environment, and that is exactly what I offer. I clean constantly, but I believe immunity is built through exposure, not through a completely sterile environment. I am constantly improving my program and setup and am always looking for ways to make it better.
