Kannan Gopinathan is an IAS Officer of AGMUT Cadre and was posted in Dadra and Nagar Haveli, when Narendra Modi Government abrogated Article 370 and Article 35A from Jammu & Kashmir, all the political leaders were arrested or were put under house arrest, all the means of communications, Internet, Transport System were closed, huge army was deployed in Kashmir, Kannan decided to quit out of his job in solidarity with the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
