Filmmaker Alun Hughes presents a compilation of some of his best film moments from the 80s.

80s Birth of Extreme Part one features:

Jimmy Jewel in Total Control. 35 minutes of extreme solo climbing in North Wales

12 minutes of Shaun Baker in Waterfall Kayak. Several International Film Festivals have adorned this film with prizes. "This film makes climbers look like wimps!" Jerry Moffat.

The Fourteen Peaks with Colin Donnelly follows Colin during his 1988 attempt to break the record for the Welsh 3,000ft peaks. 12 minutes.

Swallow Falls, the first descent... by Canadian Canoe! 5 minutes.
