Silence was observed at all places in this recording (low-volume talking are allowed if you need to pose questions to the brothers/other retreatants, or for prayers).

They recently changed their rule to allow women to visit and/or stay at the monastery. For non-Catholics or even non-Theists who do not feel comfortable praying inside the church, there is a meditation room with yoga mat that allows you to seek God at your own pace. Roughly 96% of the books inside the library are Catholic literature, 2% of them are fiction novels, and the remaining 2% are holy books and spiritual books of other religions such as the Qur'an, Veda, and Torah.
