Long Range FPV: Dangerous Wind!

Long range fpv can be a little risky at times. This is one of those times.
I've flown here on several occasions and even on windier days,
but I have never encountered wind gusts like this before!
The quad:

Frame: 6 inch Flosstyle (with dead cat arms of my design)
GoPro mount out front between the props (my design and print)
Camera HD: GoPro session 5 (with Camera Butter ND filter)
Rx: TBS crossfire nano diversity
Flight controller: DYSF4PRO V2
ESC: Spedix GS35 HV
Motors: racerstar AirA 2508 1200kv
Props: Gemfan 5552 (for this video)
Fpv cam: runcam micro eagle
GPS: BN-880
VTX: iflight long range
VTX antenna: True RC singularity

Transmitter: taranis X9D with TBS crossfire micro Tx
Goggles: EV800D (Orqa, where are my goggles at?)
Goggle antennas: True RC X-air and a 12 turn helical that I made.

For mid range flying, freestyle batteries are doubled up.

For long range, I made a couple of 4000 mah 6s batteries using samsung 40T li-ion cells.
