Top Surgery Drains

I use soft Penrose drains because they allow me to use liposuction while sculpting a masculine chest. Drains also speed Patient’s healing and do NOT hurt when removed! Liposuction requires tumescent fluid. After Top Surgery this fluid needs to come out and that’s where the drains come in! The drains remove any remaining tumescent fluid and reduce swelling. Liposuction is a remarkable tool to help eliminate feminine fat pads (ex: armpit fat) which ultimately hide the pectoralis muscle. Additionally, tumescent fluid ensures a safer procedure by minimizing bleeding and providing extended post op pain relief! Patients are typically pain free for 8 to 12 hours after the surgery. This prolonged relief is also attributed to the effective drainage of the fluid and overall promotes optimal recovery conditions.
