Here is what Issac's full Itinerary looks like with our notes:
June 10 - Fly to HI /Pink Pillbox Hike at Sunset
*optional lunch to go & eat at Tantalus Lookout or you can eat lunch at the Magic Island it's right next to your hotel
*recommendation. You might want to spend your first day in Waikiki, do turtle spotting there, check out Duke's statue, walk around, have some shave ice, watch the sunset at Magic Island. Maili Pillbox is about 45 min drive from Waikiki, see how you feel after your flight.
June 11 - Hanauma Bay beach/ Relax
* optional sunrise hike at Makapu'u
*if possible, make reservations for Hanauma bay or arrive at 6:45 when the park opens.
*optional Hanauma Bay Hike (paved hike & gorgeous views).
June 12 - Dole Plantation/ Waimea Bay Beach
*optional stop at Green World coffee farm(you can see how coffee grows and their coffee is the bomb!) It's really close to Dole.
*optional stop at Laniakea Beach for turtle spotting (it's on the way to Waimea Bay and it will only take a few min)
*optional Waimea Valley waterfall hike (nature walk) -admission $20/pp (It's right across from Waimea Bay Beach).
*sunset at Sunset Beach or Bonzai Pipeline
June 13 - Koko head hike/airport friends pickup/China town
*optional lunch to go & eat at Tantalus Lookout if you do not make it there on Thursday
*Optional Turtle Spotting in Waikiki
June 14 - Turtle Beach at Turtle bay/PCC/ Sugar mill/ Sunset
*recommend not to go to the beach and get wet before PCC
*Optional visit Byodo-In Temple at 8:45 am
* Stop at Kualoa Park for perfect views of Chinamen's Hat. (quick stop on the way to PCC)
*Optional Laie Point before PCC (it's a quick stop, close to PCC and gorgeous views)
*recommend doing lunch at the Sugar Mill instead of the dinner
June 15 - Temple / Pillbox Laniki & Beach
*recommend going to Lanikai around 7 am to find parking for the hike & relax on the beach.
*recommend Kayaking to the Mokes (Kayak rentals are available in Kailua town, look for Groupon deals)
*Recommend Waimanalo Beach (it's a really loooong beach, very few people)
June 16 - Pearl Harbor/Luau
June 17 - Hike/sunset boat with Royal Catamaran
June 18 Wedding Day
June 19 Fly Home
