Speedmaster review of my First Man, Straight Writing case and 30th Anniversary Last Man on the Moon

First off...

Here at the Blanchard house we celebrate William Blanchard, and his father (my great great grand father) who fought with Merrels Horse regiment for the North during the Civil war. To Colonel John Dean Blanchard Navy cross recipient and saw action both in Europe and later on in the war the Pacific during WWII. We remember your sacrifice for freedom.

I hope you all had a good Memorial Day. Over here it was rained out so it gave me a chance to edit my video once more!

Okay guys!

Today I will be going over my rare Speedmaster Straight writing case back and my 30th anniversary Apollo 17 Last Man on the Moon watch... which almost met its fate after a saltwater bath in the Caribbean.
I also take some time to briefly go over the history of this iconic watch design. From its beginning in 1957 as a auto club/race car timing device to becoming an icon as it became the first watch on the moon and later helped save the lives of the Apollo 13 crew when it was used as a timing device for a critical directional burn on its way back to earth.
