📓 HOW TO REPLACE CHAIN
1. Safely elevate your Rebel 300 to access the chain and rear wheel.
2. Use the chain breaker to carefully remove the master link and old chain.
3. Measure the new chain to the correct length, cut it to size, and connect the master link.
4. Depending on your master link type, either clip the master link OR rivet the master link. Riveting requires flaring the pins.
4. Once the new chain is connected, tighten or loosen the rear axle adjusters to achieve the proper chain tension. You will need to loosen the axel nut and both rear swingarm bolts.
5. Measure the chain freeplay as you adjust the chain tension (read owners manual for correct freeplay measurements for your bike).
6. Apply a high-quality chain lubricant to ensure smooth operation and longevity.
