Courting Great Crested Grebes (Denmark 2008)

Video showing a variety of courtship related behaviors in the Great Crested Grebe (Podiceps cristatus or Toppet Lappedykker in Danish). Filmed from one spot over the course of a couple hours on the afternoon of 8 May 2008 in Utterslev Mose, Denmark. Sorry about all the automobile noise but that's the way it often is in this area. Between the roar of the motors you can hear many of the local bird calls as well as the calling of the grebes. (Hunter Desportes).
