Asfaw's Story

This is the story of a young boy in Ethiopia who was separated from his grandmother, the only family he had, at the age of 8. He was found living on the streets of Addis at the age of 9 and taken in by an orphanage. He grew up in this orphanage for 8 years until his life was changed by an Ordinary Hero team and a mom who dedicated herself to helping him find his past during an adventure in the far countryside of Ethiopia. Through many tears he finds what has been lost for so many years and the answers to his questions. Throughout the search he discovers that the one thing he has always longed for was with him through each and every step of his journey. His new mother. Love conquers all and brings new hope in Asfaw's touching story. His story is one of over 4 million orphans in Ethiopia. Each and every child longs for a future and a hope.
