A wonderfully simple pre-school series which will encourage children to join in and draw the quirky characters at home.

Episode 24: The little flamingo doesn’t want to go to bed. He stays up with the other animals and parties through the night. The other flamingos aren’t very happy, because they would like to get some sleep. The mother flamingo has a great idea and plays a bedtime game with the little flamingo. Finally the little flamingo is tired too and goes to sleep with all the others.

Episode 25: The little ostrich runs away from home, because he can’t stand his parents quarrelling. But everywhere he goes, he realises that everybody quarrels. The little ostrich decides to go back home, where his parents are anxiously awaiting him. They promise not to quarrel anymore, but the little ostrich says it’s ok to quarrel as long as you make up afterwards.

Spirello is a selection designed for kindergarden and pre-school classes but also to be used at home. Cartoon drawings of animals with spiral and bouncy legs, together with music, encourage children to sing, dance and act. The crayon drawings on paper appear to be done in rough strokes by children with bright but few colours.
