Smart city: Urbanism designed by technology | SLICE

Today, historic metropolises are increasingly investing in technology in order to deal with the unstoppable growth of urban population.
In London, the Oxford Circus junction enjoys the densest pedestrian population in the country : tens of thousands of people cross it every hour.
Given this somewhat nightmarish situation, the city council and local businesses had an idea : to speed up the pace of pedestrians. But how to do that without slowing down the road traffic?
