My Best Friend Died While I Was In Medical School And I Want To Talk About It

The last few weeks were a little rough. I've never had to deal with burnout or burning out as a student before in medical school, but after losing one of my best friends a few weeks ago, it felt like my 300 mile per hour life hit a concrete wall. Long story short... I'm back now 💪 I can't thank everyone enough for the support and understanding and I just wanted to share this story to try and help other students in the future that may be going through something similar :)

As a very important aside, never be ashamed to talk to someone if you're not feeling well. I've stressed the importance of mental health for years and won't stop any time soon. School can be stressful, particularly for premeds and med students. Remember that help is always available ❤️
