PTI Quality Lab - Using Gauges to Measure the Taper Bore of a Drive Component

Welcome to PTI's Quality Lab, where we use several gauges and other measuring devices to ensure product quality as a part of our ISO 9001 program.

We show three gauges/measurements in this video:
1. Taper depth - to measure the sprocket angle so the bushing will sit flush inside
2. Taper angle - to ensure the component will stay tightly attached to the shaft
3. Location of the installation holes - ensuring the holes are in the proper locations so that the bushing will be properly installed into the sprocket
