The Frankfurt Radio Big Band is also going into the new year with a personal view of the local music scene. The view widens and focuses on a young singer / songwriter who is currently on everyone's lips: "Fee.".Fee and point, that's what Felicitas "Fee" Mietz said to herself in 2010, when she left a band project that, with a record deal, actually looked like winning the lottery. But she wanted to do “her own thing". Despite the Corona crisis, the young musician is currently very busy and has just released a new album called "Nachtluft", which was created entirely in her own bedroom. A whole big band won't fit in there, but there is definitely enough space in the hr-Sendesaal! And what the music of the Frankfurt-based singer / songwriter sounds like with the Frankfurt Radio Big Band, you can find out in the live stream on January 23rd, 2021 at 8 p.m. The evening is led by Rainer Tempel, who also wrote the arrangements for this special project idea.

Auch ins neue Jahr geht die hr-Bigband mit dem persönlichen Blick auf die lokale Musikszene. Der Blick weitet sich und stellt eine junge Singer/Songwriterin in den Fokus, die gerade in aller Munde ist: "Fee.".

Fee und Punkt, das sagte sich Felicitas "Fee" Mietz bereits 2010, als sie aus einem Bandprojekt ausstieg, das mit einem Plattenvertrag ausgestattet eigentlich nach dem Sechser im Lotto anmutete. Aber sie wollte ihr eigenes "Ding" machen und nichts Überproduziertes darstellen müssen. Der Erfolg gab und gibt ihr recht. Die junge Musikerin ist trotz der Corona-Krise gerade sehr fleißig und hat mit "Nachtluft" gerade ein neues Album veröffentlicht, das komplett im eigenen Schlafzimmer entstanden ist. Da passt wohl keine ganze Big Band rein, aber im hr-Sendesaal gibt es ganz sicher genügend Platz! Und wie die Musik der Frankfurter Singer/Songwriterin mit der hr-Bigband klingt, das erfahren Sie im Livestream am 23. Januar 2021 um 20 Uhr. Die Leitung des Abends hat Rainer Tempel, der auch die Arrangements für diese besondere Projektidee geschrieben hat.
