HMS Defender Type 45 Destroyer

A beautiful sunny morning shows off the sleek lines of HMS Defender Type 45 Destroyer as she enters Portsmouth Harbour. HMS Defender is the fifth ship of the class, there being six in the class all together. Portsmouth is the home port for HMS Defender. The full title for a Type 45 is a Daring Class Air Defence Destroyer. HMS Defender was commissioned on 6th March 2013 so at time of this footage, has been in active service for 9 years.
