Taiwan's Wulinshan (Halun) Logging Railway

A rare English language video introducing Taiwan's Chinan National Forest Recreation Area on the country's East Coast. The Recreation Area's Logging Museum preserves a selection of historic steam and diesel locomotives and in early video footage shown here, it documents the history of the remarkable Wulinshan narrow gauge logging railway. The Museum also conserves logging implements and methods from Taiwan's timber harvesting past.
