First look at the new hikoki 8 1/2 inch 216mm mitre saw with fixed rails

In this video I take a first look at the new Hikoki 8 1/2 inch sliding mitre saw with fixed rails. This is the only review on youtube for this model. Its the 240v model but also comes in 110v. The 240v model is 1100w with the 110v being 1030w.
I thought the low power may be a problem but after trying the saw I can say it cuts better than my old mitre saw which had a bigger motor.
The hikoki brand is the new name for hitatchi but in the usa its Matabo. This is a long video but as I couldnt find any other videos about this model I wanted to mention as much as I could.
The fixed rail means the saw can be used against a wall unlike the usual mitre saws that require space behind for the rails. This is not a review as such but more of a first look & set up. Enjoy
