Train & Railway Photography in snow | UK Trains

Train & railway photography in the snow, the snow came down and I headed to my local railway line to hunt out some rail photography compositions in the snow. I was expecting up to four freight trains to pass in the snow and I did manage one Class 66 Freightliner train photograph in the snow. Plenty of Northern Rail Class 158 and Class 195 passing in the snow

Filmed January 2021 on the old Midland line out of Leeds UK between Hunslet and Woodlesford.

2021 represents a significant milestone in the history of the Phoenix Railway-Photographic Circle with the celebration of our 50th anniversary. Phoenix was set up in spring 1971 and was created to promote an alternative approach to railway photography.
