Infamous: The Mission and Meet Iris Yau

Iris Ching Man Yau 丘靜雯 (MA FRSA FHEA), was born and raised in Hong Kong. She was in London as an overseas student studying for her Fashion degree when Britain returned Hong Kong to China in 1997. Prior to teaching in higher education, Iris was in global Fashion Buying and Sourcing for various international fashion companies in London.

She has written and curated exhibitions including the exhibition Iris’s Silk Route, which toured at all colleges at University of the Arts London and then Opium, Silk and the Missionaries in China at the Brunei Gallery, SOAS University of London. She is curator of Infamous: Opium, Silk, Tea and the Mission exhibition at the Portico Library.
