Tinsley's path to the NFL Draft is an incredible rise. With no offers out of high school, Tinsley played at Hutchinson Community College, annually one of the best JUCOs in the country. From there, he joined Western Kentucky, with the Hilltoppers and Marshall being his biggest offers out of JUCO.

Tinsley had nearly 1800 yards and 18 TDs in two years at WKU. In 2021 alone, he finished with 87 receptions for 1472 yds and 14 TDs. This was good for 8th nationally in yards and 5th in TD receptions. He was named Second Team All-CUSA in a surprisingly deep receiving pool. His contested catch heroics alonside fellow star receiver Jerreth Sterns - who led the nation in yards - helped Bailey Zappe, now with the Patriots, lead the country in passing yards and set an all-time single season passing TDs record at 62.
Tinsley caught the record breaking touchdown in a Boca Raton Bowl blowout over Group of 5 Powerhouse Appalachian State.

In his lone year at Penn State, Tinsley made a huge impact on our Rose Bowl run, coming up with many jump ball grabs and long receptions in crucial moments of the game. With 51 receptions for 577 yds and 5 TDs, he finished a close second to star Parker Washington in yards, led in receptions, and tied with TE Brenton Strange for the TD receptions lead.

Tinsley went from no offers out of college to 181 career FBS catches for 2356 yards and 23 Touchdowns, in just 3 seasons! Combined with his time in JUCO an NFL team will be getting a steal in the form of a tough, experienced receiver with over 3,000 career receiving yards between JUCO and NCAA.
