The first formal step to establish an NGO in Pakistan is NGO registration under some law. There are different laws under which you may register your organisation but societies registration act is simple, easy and flexible. In present times registration of an NGO (non-governmental organisation) in Pakistan is not less than a challenge but not impossible. When you decide to establish an NGO, you must define its goal /objectives and give an attractive and meaningful name. For NGO registration under societies registration act you also need body of seven people with their details to form its executive body or board of director, memorandum of articles/bye-laws, office documents etc. You submit the application with complete documentation at district office and start process of account opening at any bank for your NGO.
