Tattoo Transformation in the Bali Jungle [ O M G ]

In this video I drove around the monkey forest in Bali, blanketed in thick green foliage with wild monkeys. Then met my friend who is staying in the jungle to get a special tattoo over my self harm scars.
If you don't like tattoos thats okay! BUT puhhh leaaase don't tell me what to do with my body or your vision of how my body would look best. I really don't care to hear it. I love tattoos as a form of art and decoration on these impermanent vessels. They are amazing reminders and can be extremely empowering. I also got this the day before I completed my yoga teacher training!

MEANING :)
Every part of my tattoo has a symbol and a meaning.

The Main Center Circle
-- is a vesicle piscis, the vesica piscis is a type of lens, a mathematical shape formed by the intersection of two disks with the same radius, intersecting in such a way that the center of each disk lies on the perimeter of the other.This is found in the flower of life where the circles overlap.
- The outer cresent moons represent the ovaries on the female and the almond shape middle represents a little snake eye/ opening like the center of a mans lingam. Representing the balance of the masculine feminine. A huge breakthrough I made this year with my healing from traumas with men.. Realizing we all have both of these energies running through us, and honoring that in everyone.
- The center circle with another smaller colored circle inside is found in symbology a lot & represents the sun. The outer two cresent moons around it show the coming into balance with the sun and moon, ida and pingala, lunar and solar channels or left and right hemispheres of the brain, both of which need to be activated to rise kundalini up the spine.
- SO with all these different aspects in mind.. The Center Circle is all about "CHIT" Knowingness, Consciousness. Truth of who we really are and truth of the balance that needs to occur to be fully in our power

The Dot Pattern
- The dots used are composed of 3 - 5 - 7 which is the breath pattern used in Ekadasi Krya meditation that the nervous system responds to in clearing the body of emotional trauma locked in the physical body. This is an 11 day meditation thats extremely powerful and on the eleventh day can take up to two hours. It is alll about releasing and clearing so the body doesn't feel pain from the past. I thought it was a very fitting detail to be part of this creation.

The Outer Four Stars
- Hard to see from the video. The stars are composed of 9 dots.. Just look up the number 9.. I wanted twinkly stars because I am obsessed with stars in the sky, they make me feel so humbled to exist and theres an immediate comfort that washes over me like a feeling of being "at home". I also think they're mystical and mysterious, some of the same stars in the sky now were looked at by great philosophers and voyagers or used to track the way to safety. The universe blows my mind. I wanted some little part of it on my skin.

The Key at The Bottom
- It's not actually a key but more of a compass to help guide me on my journey and a reminder that no matter what direction I go in that I am always connected to the truth of my existence and the laws of nature. Which for me is extremely comforting.

Peri did such an amazing job. I told her what I wanted and She designed it, we discussed a few more details in person and voilaaa.
My tattoos always take FOREVER to heal so it might be a month until I post another picture but I'm in love with it and its just another manifestation come to life. One I called in years ago. I'm so grateful!
