Hi! Today I play along on the drums with my hero Billie Joe Armstrong, as he performs Give Me Novacaine with only his guitar and his voice.
His voice is so beautiful, and I've listened to this song at least 10 thousand times or more. I love this song so much, one of the best Green Day songs, and one of the best songs in general created by anyone. Everything about it is perfect, and whenever I listen to it, I feel better, like someone understands me. Thank you so much Green Day for creating this amazing song. The drums are also so good, some of Tre's best drumming. The Chorus is good, I really like how he uses the hi hat between the crash hits, a subtle but important detail that adds a lot of texture to the drum part. The drumming in the interlude is out of this world good, so powerful and the guitar solo all just works so well together.
