One of the most common mistakes we see athletes make with the bar muscle ups is too heavily relying on the upper body to do more of the work that is necessary. Sure, you CAN use mostly just your upper body to muscle up, but what happens when you need your grip and arms for another part of the workout? Nothing good, that's what.
