Ozark Trail 20 x 10 Cabin Tent, Camping with Air Conditioning - How to

We bought this tent a couple of years ago because of its size and the built in a/c vents so we could camp in the summer. I finally bought a window unit air conditioner and this past weekend was the first chance we had to test it. We'll need a few minor adjustments our next trip but all in all it worked very well. UPDATE: The “adjustments” we’ve subsequently made were to put a full 20” X 30” tarp over the tent, thereby creating the necessary insulation and we used the foam rubber strips that came with the unit to completely seal the area around the tent’s a/c vent so that there is no space around the unit and it takes air directly from inside the tent into the unit and back out into the tent as it was designed to do in a home window.
