LMS 5 Squareness - LASERTEX Co Ltd
Lathe Measurement System LMS-5 is a laser based device for complete characterization of a various lathes. The measurements is performed on the basis of the laser beam position detection. The source of the laser beam is a fiber pigtailed and intensity stabilized laser diode. Special, proprietary, beam detection algorithms implemented into the optical detector quarantee unrivalled accuracy and measurement speed of the whole measurement system.
Filed of use:
1) Position of the axis of rotation of the spindle against the tool
2) Position of the tool against the spindle
3) Straightness of movement of the tool perpendicular to the spindle axis
4) Straightness of movement of the tool parallel to the spindle axis
5) Squareness of the axes of the movement of the tool
6) Measurement of spindle beat (runout)
7) Position of tail stock against the spindle axis
8) Straightness of movement of the tail stock
9) Measurement of tail stock beat
