This video shoes how to use food waste and natural materials to dye fabric in wonderful earthy colors. It is the most sustainable and minimalist way to give your clothes some new color. The way I show in this video can be done completely zero waste, but by not using mordants the colorfastness suffers a bit, on the other hand its a very ecofriendly non toxic process so it can easily be done at home. In this video I show you how to dye with onion skins, avocado skins and pits as well as nettls and blackberries.
