This is very good plantation of Chinese Moso bamboo. This planted by Dr. K. Haridasan, then Systematic Botanist during 1998. Dr. Haridasan sir visited China and brought a seedling of Chinese Moso bamboo which was planted at Yachuli just back side of the Range Forest Office. Later, one ha. Plantation was sanctioned by National Mission on Bamboo Applications, DST when I was working there. Now, it has covered a large area and size of the bamboo also very big. This species is suitable for raising plantation in Arunachal Pradesh between 700 to 2000 MSL.
