BCS - Amur Leopards Cubs 2012 - First Day Outside the Den

This video shows our Amur Leopard mum, Xizi with her 4 1/2 week old cubs. Up until now the cubs have been kept inside by a half door blocking their way outside, although Xizi has access outside all the time by stepping over the door. The decision was made that Xizi seemed ready to start taking the cubs outside, so the door was removed. In this video you can watch the cubs taking an interest in the outside enclosure, and the braver cub venturing out for quite a few little walkabouts, carefully carried back in by Xizi, over and over again!
