Andrew Scheer says Gerald Butts' statement 'validated' Wilson-Raybould's testimony

Conservative Party Leader Andrew Scheer said Wednesday that Gerald Butts' testimony "validated" the accusation by Jody Wilson-Raybould that she was pressured to intervene in the SNC-Lavalin case.

Butts testified a week after Wilson-Raybould's explosive testimony about events surrounding the SNC-Lavalin case and two days after former cabinet minister Jane Philpott resigned.

Scheer also said Prime Minister Justin Trudeau "refuses to accept any responsibility."
