RED DEER PHOTOGRAPHY | Behind the scenes with a wildlife photographer.

Photographing deer at the best of times is a wonderful experience but as a wildlife photographer, photography them in the gorgeous early morning light makes those moments even more special. Being out in nature seeing the wildlife which can be seen at this time of day is a great way to unwind and relax.

In this video I also show that you should not be afraid of using those teleconverter to provide that extra focal length you often need. All the video footage of the wildlife and images were captured at a whopping 1200mm using the Canon 1DX Mark II, 600mm f/4 IS II and 2X Mark III extender, and shows what can be achieved with the right light and camera settings.
