The 2024 Range Rover Sport SV will be one of the most powerful and dynamic Range Rover Sport models ever. It blends supreme performance and dynamism with peerless Range Rover capability, refinement, and reductive design. It has a whole array of performance-enhancing technologies, which include the most advanced suspension in its class and a sensory audio system with wellness benefits.
This modern luxury performance champion has taken its place at the pinnacle of a refreshed Range Rover Sport lineup, driving sporting attitude, dynamic ability, and assertive presence to the next level. To keep up with its high-performance credentials, the new Range Rover Sport SV will come with an exclusive airflow-enhanced design that delivers a more assertive and grounded aesthetic. It will be fitted with functional, lightweight, and technical material choices throughout, reinforcing its high-performance capabilities.
This amazing car will be powered by a new 4.4-liter twin-turbo MHEV V8 petrol engine that will be capable of producing about 606 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque. This is more power than the previous generation Range Rover Sport SVR’s supercharged 5.0-liter V8. With all this power, the new Range Rover Sport SV will be capable of going from 0 to 60 in about 3.6 seconds, with a top speed of 180 miles per hour. Land Rover has also made sure to leave as little carbon footprint as possible, reducing CO2 emissions by 15% compared to the previous model.
The performance has been enhanced by a combination of features that deliver a weight saving of up to 76 kg. This includes the world’s first 23-inch carbon fiber wheel option on a production car, carbon ceramic brakes, which are an option for the first time on a Range Rover, and standard-fit aerodynamic enhancements, including a carbon fiber bonnet.
To clarify the Range Rover’s modern luxury philosophy, the new Range Rover Sport SV is initially being reserved for select clients globally. Not only that, but the invitation-only SV EDITION ONE specification will represent a curation of the best feature combinations, colors, and finishes. Each Range Rover Sport SV EDITION ONE is enhanced with exclusive branding on the front splitter, center console, treadplates, and puddle lamps. And just so you know, each Range Rover Sport SV EDITION ONE has already been allocated to a Range Rover client.
Let’s just say that Land Rover has given the 2024 Range Rover Sport SV some of the most revolutionary dynamics.
The 2024 Range Rover SV will come with specially developed chassis components, including a new rear subframe and suspension links with revised geometry and compliance. There will be a new electronically powered steering rack that will have the fastest ratio of any Range Rover to date, with the main aim of enhancing agility and feel.
To maximize the benefit of the new Range Rover Sport SV’s upgraded dynamic hardware, the drivers can intensify the car’s sporting attitude by pressing the new SV Mode button on the steering wheel. The SV mode is just a step above the Range Rover Sport’s existing Dynamic mode. This new mode will optimize the steering, eight-speed automatic gearbox, throttle response, exhaust note, and 6D Dynamics suspension system, which includes lowering the ride height by an additional 15 mm, all to deliver the most dynamic and visceral experience possible. The SV Mode will also allow the track-oriented TracDSC stability control program to be activated so drivers can more freely explore the new Range Rover SV’s dynamic balance.
