How To Upload Your Documents when buying a HUD Home

Congratulations on having your bid accepted as the winning bid for a HUD home! 🎉 This is an exciting step, and now it’s time to move forward by uploading the required documents to the HUD portal. Make sure all necessary documents, such as the earnest money receipt and proof of buyer eligibility, are prepared and saved in the correct format (PDF preferred). These documents must be submitted within the timeline specified in your bid acceptance notification. Once uploaded to the HUD Homestore portal under your account, double-check everything for accuracy and completeness to avoid any delays.

After submission, the asset manager will review your documents to ensure everything is in order. If any corrections or additional information are needed, you, the selling agent, will be notified to address them promptly. Once the asset manager approves the documents, your contract will be ratified, and you’ll officially move forward in the home purchase process.
