6th Video in the series. Today we are looking at my "community" tank. Its a 40 gallon breeder that has been set up for about a year. The Tank is well established, but some plants are starting to shade out the others. Soon Ill tackle that!

There are 3 neon tetras in here, the remnants of a different tank I had some time ago, there was originally 6, but time has taken a few. the last 3 are getting pretty good size. I hope to breed them next month in a 5.5 gallon that I set up with Akadama as the substrate.

There are 2 corys both were accidentally added to the bag when I was purchasing other fish from walmart.... both times, the lady said.... well, you can have that one for free, as she didn't want to try to net it back out... one is a bronze and the other is a peppered. some day soon, I will set up a sand bottom tank and get them some playmates!

I added a male Bristlenose a while back and spent months trying to get a mate. Where I live, there are only a few places to buy fish, so I tried purchasing from my LFS, but all 3 BN died after a few days. Next I bought 2 from petsmart or petco(i forget) and they both brought disease in. I treated the tank, but ended up losing both again. Finally, I went to a reputable place about 3 hours from me, and picked out this lovely female. Within a week, the male is sitting on eggs! As of writing this, last night they hatched!

Lastly, there are 2 GIANTLY MASSIVE amano shrimp in this tank. I don't see them very often, but I'm surprised every time with how big they have gotten!
