This needed to be said, they need to say it louder even! The message in this song is so so so important! It's given me "im not a girl but not yet a woman" from Britney lol More seriously though, I find this song to bring back some bittersweet feelings almost, that awkward moment when you're trying to be bold, confident to somehow fit the standards from society but trying to be your true self at the same time, searching yourself and wanting to be loved for exactly who you are. I find this song to be super refreshing in the way they went about the message, I loved to see the evolution, girls supporting girls and the freedom too! There concept is giving me sour candy vibes lol They're super sweet but they've got a punch to them and they're super addicting.
It's like a subtle diss and classy diss at societal standards being pushed on all of us. I loved it! I can say right of the bat that I loved this song, I don't need it to grow on me cause it already did!
