#1 The Danyang-Kunshan Grand Bridge, China

The Danyang-Kunshan Grand Bridge is the longest bridge in the world, spanning a remarkable distance of 164 km. It crosses the Yangtze River between Danyang and Kunshan and connects Shanghai to Nanjing. It is a suspension bridge with three lanes in each direction.

The bridge cost $10 billion and was completed in 2010. Only a year after, when it was opened in 2011, it became the first bridge to cross the Yangtze River in China.

#2 Changhua–Kaohsiung Viaduct, Taiwan

This is the second-largest bridge in the world. It was built to carry railway traffic across the sea between the city of Changhua County and the town of Zuoying in Kaohsiung. This railway bridge is the longest of its kind in the world.

The main part of the bridge is 157 kilometers long, and it has 4 main stations built along its way. This bridge was constructed in 2007, and it took about 4 years to complete this project. This bridge cost about $8 million to build, and this high price really justifies its incredible structure.

#3 Cangde Grand Bridge, China

The Cangde Grand Bridge is the third longest bridge in the world. This 116 km long bridge is also present in China. This bridge is part of a rail line that connects Beijing with Shanghai. In fact, it is a part of the High-Speed Railway covering the area between Beijing and Shanghai.

#4 Tianjin Grand Bridge, China

Tianjin Grand Bridge in China is 113 km long. It is the fourth longest bridge in the entire world and undoubtedly the most beautiful one.

This bridge connects Langfang with the Qingxian city. It is also a part of the long Shanghai-Beijing high-speed railway.

#5 Weinan Weihe Grand Bridge, China
This bridge is another Chinese bridge, and it is named after the nearby city of Weinan, which is present in Xi'an, China. This bridge was built on top of the Wei River. The most unusual thing about this bridge is that it crosses the same Wei river twice, just like every other river that comes in its path from Xi, Ling, Luofu, and Shi Di.

The next bridge on our list is the world's longest automotive bridge. The Bang Na Expressway bridge is 54 km long. The most unusual thing about this bridge is that it does not cross a water mass for its whole length. It only crosses the Bang Pakong River for some kilometers.

This is another Chinese bridge that was built for the Beijing-–Shanghai High-Speed Railway. The city of Beijing is connected to the rest of the country by this bridge. This bridge was built in the year 20010, and it has a length of 48 kilometers.

This bridge is the longest bridge in the United States of America. It was built over Lake Pontchartrain, which is a lake that is situated in the southeastern part of the country. This bridge spans a distance of 38 kilometers across the lake.

#9 Wuhan Metro Bridge, China
This is another rail bridge in China, but it was built for the Wuhan Metro system instead of other traditional rail lines. This bridge was built to ease traffic flow in the city of Wuhan and connect the major intercity railways that run through Wuhan.

#10 Manchac Swamp Bridge, USA
Manchac Swamp Bridge is a 36 km long twin concrete trestle bridge above the Manchac Swamp, located in the town of Louisiana. It was completed in 1979 and opened to public use in the same year.
