My Adoption Story | Thailand | Holt Sahathai International

This is my Adoption Story! I made this for my Senior Project that was about the issues of the Foster Care System in the United States. One of my solutions is adoption, so I decided to tell (or show) my story. The beginning of this video shows me as a baby with my foster care family. My parents are talking in the background. My dad is typically the one narrating everything. As the video continues it shows their time in Thailand and them struggling to get me to warm up to them. The necklace is very symbolic... it was placed on me by my foster grandfather and my parents were told to take it off when everything is okay. After they took it off in the video, I put little snippets of the rest of my life, because everything really is okay. I would like to my parents, my friends and family, my teachers, and my classmates for always making me feel welcome. Nobody ever treated me differently for being adopted, or the color of my skin. I am so thankful for all the love and wonderful opportunities I have been given. Thank you.
