Summary:
Tesla might or might not build an electric aircraft, however nothing in scale of Airbus A320 aircraft, at least not at first. The main problem with the electric aircraft is battery that suppose to power the aircraft. Currently li-io battery can't store enough power or energy due to limiting technology. However, there's a massive development in battery. especially in sold state battery and lithium air battery side. Maxwell dry battery, which is form of solid state battery tech, is ahead of the curve considerably and Tesla purchased the company earlier in the year indicate its serious plans for the future of automotive but also aviation sectors.
