How to Lath a new window in a stucco wall.

The owner of this apartment building installed a few windows.
He called us to wrap them and apply the stucco to match the finish.

Before 1980, there was no exterior sheathing or plywood siding, just studs.
When I started lathing and plastering, the windows were mounted on studs; naturally, the studs sills had the bottom flashings in place, along with the sides overlapping the bottom piece. Next, the window is installed with a metal Z flashing over the top of the window.
Our job in the past was to fish the new paper under the exposed window sill flashing, then to continue to go up and add new paper over the sides of the flashing and caulk or fuse the new paper to the sides of the window frames.
Sikaflex polyurethane 1A caulking is a construction sealant and adhesive and one of the strongest caulking available for this purpose.
Note I placed a new paper over the bottom of the window flashing; also note the exit for the rain on the windows is on the face of the windows.
