The latest VIP Design Land Rover Defender restoration project is now complete

This Land Rover Defender is pretty unique and rather special. Having spent most of its life serving as an ambulance it has covered very few miles, less than 3000 miles per year in fact! But standing in damp conditions for days at a time had taken its toll.

This Defender has been the subject of a 12 month total rebuild and restoration project. She is literally better than new. Sound proofed, with all new interior, carpets, seats, headlining. Audio system, sat nav and heated seats. Full Mechanical overhaul and rebuild, bear metal respray, with many new panels, including all 4 new doors. New wheels and tyres. Undersealed and waterproofed. New 12 month MOT.

What makes this Defender particularly special is it has covered just 89,000 miles, and it has all original matching engine and chassis numbers – this is super rare and makes it very collectable, as well as exportable.

Now better than new in just about every way – Its been with us so long it feels a little like part of the family.
