Sweet little Thandie, Zoo Antwerp 23 Feb 2020

She’s getting bigger and bigger, and more active. It’s a joy to watch her. I love everything about her! In this video she’s eating ‘regular food’.

A few things:
- The gorillas have access to an island when the weather is okay (not too cold -is based on the age of young gorillas, when they’re new-borns it has to be above 6 or 8 degrees Celsius; each zoo has their own limits- and not too windy and the water around their island can’t be frozen), but with bad weather they decide themselves to stay in.
- You don't hear the gorillas because a) they're behind glass so b) you’d only hear people talking (in Dutch) and c) they hardly make any sounds and d) if they make sounds, we can't hear it since their sounds are very soft.
